Cancer Coach

Care. Nourish. Empower.
Coaching for the

journey
The word “cancer” can be one the scariest words to hear. I've been there! I am a two time cancer survivor of Thyroid and Non-Hodgkin's B-Cell Lymphoma.
Through my cancer journey I have learned quite a bit and discovered that I have a strong passion for helping others who have gotten their cancer diagnosis. I am now a certified cancer coach through BeatCancer.org. My philosophy is to focus on the person, not the tumor. Natural healing can happen through nutrition, exercise, mind/body awareness, and strong mental health.
Whether you are looking for help preventing cancer, support while going through treatment, creating a game plan post-treatment, or you have become an amazing care giver I look forward to being part of your journey.

More Than a Coach:
A Companion on the Journey
What exactly does a cancer coach do?
A cancer coach offers emotional support, lifestyle guidance, and personalized tools to help you navigate your cancer journey—whether you’re focused on healing, prevention, or caregiving. I walk alongside you to support the whole you: mind, body, and spirit.
Is this meant to replace medical treatment?
I will never recommend that you stop following your doctor's advice. My services come along side of your oncologist. I aim to support your quality of life, reduce stress, and help you make empowering choices alongside your treatment plan.
Does the type of cancer I have affect the kind of support you offer?
Yes and no. While my basic approach to the cancer journey is the same across the board, I will help you develop a personalized plan based on your diagnosis, conventional treatment plan, and individual needs. We’ll look at nutrition, stress, supplements, and emotional support in a way that fits your body, lifestyle, and goals.
Can I work with you if I haven’t been diagnosed, but want to prevent cancer?
Yes! Prevention is a powerful path. I work with individuals and families who want to take proactive steps through nutrition, stress reduction, and whole-person wellness—even without a diagnosis. It's never too early to invest in your health.
What stage of the do you support?
Whether you're in the middle of treatment, just beginning recovery, navigating hospice care, or figuring out life after cancer—I support every stage of the journey. My focus is always on you—your needs, your pace, and your whole well-being, not just the diagnosis.
What if I’m a caregiver, not the patient?
You neeed support, too. Whether your loved one is newly diagnosed, in treatment, recovering, or in hospice care—I meet you exactly where you are. Every caregiver is just as important as the patient.
Do we meet in person or online?
All sessions are held virtually so you can connect from the comfort of your home. I currently work with clients across the country and work exclusively with Zoom or telephone calls.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, I do not accept insurance. My services are private pay. However, I do offer a free initial 20 minute consultation to get to know a little about each other before you decide if this is for you. Some clients may be able to use HSA/FSA funds—check with your provider.
